Who We Are
Meadowlark Drones
Meadowlark Drones is a family company run by Shawna and Brandon Sandau. Both were born and raised in Montana (although on different ends of the state), went to school at Montana State University, and have raised their four kids in Central Montana since 2011.
For Shawna, flying drones started as a way to improve her real estate business but became a way to be creative by finding different angles and flight patterns to create stunning photos and videos.
Brandon’s drive to always learn and master new things allows Meadowlark Drones to create custom solutions to your unique drone needs.
Credentials
Brandon and Shawna both hold their Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilots Certificates. Meadowlark Drones is insured, we follow FAA regulations, and acquire proper flight authorizations when appropriate.

DJI Mavic 3E
Our go-to for multispectral imaging, the Mavic 3E detects light wavelengths that reveal early signs of crop stress. This allows farmers and land managers to address problems before they’re visible—helping improve yield and plant health across the board.
